In 1998, Mrs. Pushpa Bajaj initiated SHUBHAM with just six students at her residence. Today, after more than two decades, SHUBHAM remains committed to addressing the challenges faced by Indian society, guided by Sri Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra’s powerful words: “Know this for certain: you are responsible for the present and future—of yourself, your family, your environment, and your country.”

Shubham endeavours to multiply the impact of every rupee spent by getting infrastructure and services from the state that benefit the entire community in perpetuity. Here’s an example from a Shubham project in Meghalaya, Assam, Jharkhad, Odisha, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Bihar where the measurable benefit to the community was over 134 times the original investment !
