    Inauguration of Welcome Gate in Whistling Village (Khonthong)

    An initiative of Welcome Gate in the entrance of Whistling Village – Kongthong, East Khasi Hills will be inaugurated on 12th November,2022 at 11.00 am by the Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Prof. Rakesh Sinha in the kind presence of Shri Teibor Lynrah, Sordar of Raid Kongthong. The Gate was constructed by the Shubham Charitable Association, Shillong under the guidance and supervision of Prof. Rakesh Sinha who adopted the village.
