FRESH PAD – A Mission for Menstrual Dignity and Zero Waste India
By Shubham Charitable Association
Welcome to Fresh Pad, a flagship initiative of Shubham Charitable Association (SCA) – a nationally recognized non-profit that has been empowering rural and tribal women since 1998.
Fresh Pad isn’t just a product — it’s a people-powered revolution. Aimed at transforming menstrual health in India, Fresh Pad offers reusable, BIS-certified, eco-friendly sanitary pads that are affordable, long-lasting, and made with love by women, for women.
A Zero Waste Meghalaya – where nothing is wasted, everything is valued. Healthy, empowered women – who protect their families, villages, and future generations. A green, thriving future – for our children, our villages, and our country. This is not just a vision – It’s a promise to every mother, every daughter, and to our Mother Earth.
Our dream is not just for women to become dependent, but truly selfreliant – leaders in their homes, communities, and the environment. We aim to free our land from the 500 crore single-use pads and diapers that are choking the earth, poisoning our water, and polluting our air.
Why Fresh Pad?
BIS-Certified Quality:
Our pads are tested, certified, and safe – used by over 200+ women with 100% satisfaction and zero reported infections or rashes.
Cost-effective:
One set lasts up to 3 years, saving up to ₹2700 per woman compared to disposables.
Eco-Conscious:
A single switch to Fresh Pad prevents 500+ non-biodegradable pads from polluting land and water.
Women-Led Production:
Our pads are stitched and managed by trained women entrepreneurs across rural Meghalaya – creating livelihoods and leadership.
CM Support:
The initiative has received active support and encouragement from the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Meghalaya, further validating its vision and impact.
